Scan a business card into Contacts
Got a business card? Take a photo, Boss fills in the name, company and phone, and you check it before saving.
Tips
- The photo is read on your phone and never uploaded. Only the details you save are kept.
- The job title goes into Notes.
- With Remind me to follow up in 3 days ticked, it shows in Reminders on the third day at 9am.
- Press Scan a card. You find it under Quick actions on Today, behind οΌ at the bottom of your phone, and in Contacts.
- If the card has Chinese, tick Card has Chinese first. Then press Take a photo of the card and your phone opens the camera.
- Check the name, company, job title, phone, email and website, and fix anything read wrong. If it can't be read, press Type it in instead.
- Add to sales pipeline (New) and Remind me to follow up in 3 days are already ticked. Untick what you don't want.
- Press Save contact. Boss opens Contacts with the new person. Press π¬ WhatsApp to say hello; the first line is ready for you to change.
